In 2007 Elite Horse Racing was formed by Ben McElroy and Gabriel Duignan, with one goal in mind – to offer investors an opportunity to buy the highest quality race horses with a one time affordable investment.   For the investor who is a fan of racing, this presents a unique chance to own a good number of well bred and talented horses while spreading any risk among a good group of like-minded  individuals and enjoying the competition of racing at some of the most prestigious racetracks in America and around the world.  To this end Elite Horse Racing specializes in buying high quality racehorses at both the two year-old sales and within the private market.   For many people, owning horses the quality of which Elite has owned in the past two years is often a dream unrealized.  However, for the members of Elite’s 2007 and 2008 Syndicates, upper level racing success became a reality.

For the members of Elite Horse Racing’s 2007 and 2008 syndicates, results on the track have been very good.  Of the horses that have started for or graduated from Elite Horse Racing, 68% have hit the board.   Incredibly 20% of Elite’s starters are Graded Stakes winners, all of which winning at the Grade 2 level (Langs Lash – The Queen Mary G2, Royal Ascot, The Niagara Queen - The Dance Smartly G2, Woodbine, and Game Face – The Old Hat G2, Gulfstream Park).  Also from the 2008 Syndicate, one individual Listed winner was Sky Haven, who is multiple Stakes placed and has earned close to $150,000.  Additional stakes performers for Elite Horse Racing are Rate of Exchange, Megadeed and Coffee Shop.  And based on Elite’s high level of success over a short period of time, there should be plenty more names to add to Elite’s list of stake winners by the end of 2009 with the promising fillies of Elite’s 2008 Syndicate.   For the prospective investor who is also a race fan, it is notable that Elite’s horses from the 2007 and 2008 syndicates have competed and/or won at Royal Ascot, Newmarket, Belmont, Keeneland, Woodbine, Gulfstream, Fair Grounds, Aqueduct and Calder.
